There are many true love stories from around the world, some have happy ending while some don’t. It goes to show that love is not always triumphant, but still, they have been inspirational in many ways.

We have all heard of many romantic tales which have been the stuff of legend since the time of our childhood. There are many wonderful true love stories that will leave people gasping for breath with the valor and courage and undying love couples had for each other. These stories are often inspirational and strengthening for folks. Cleopatra and Mark Antony are two famous characters in history whose love has been immortalized by Shakespeare. Wars were waged to separate the two, but they would rather die than be separated from each other. A true Romeo and Juliet that lived for each other.

Another True love story that still bears the marks of its love standing tall for all to see is that of an Indian king ShahJahan and his wife Mumtaz. These two star struck lovers are said to have been one of the inspirational stories on which many movies were made. He built the Taj Mahal when his wife died, a memento of his undying love for her and one of the seven wonders of the world. It still stands in testimonial to his love for his wife who was his world at all times.

Modern day tales of true love stories

One of the modern day famous love stories is that of a website designer who spotted a girl on the subway. It was love at first sight for him while at New York. He said “she had bright blue shorts and dark blue tights  and a flower in the back of her hair which was braided”. He was enthralled by her and went to make a website, nygirlofmydreams.com. Two days later, through an email they found each other and then met on TV. Despite all the high powered television bites, the two managed to keep the flame and get to know each other better and found each otherattractive.

Bonnie and Clyde have been immortalized for their love and for their infamous exploits. The robberies and murders of this couple were in the media glare for many years. Bonnie a waitress met a delinquent Clyde Barrow and fell in love at first sight. Clyde and Bonnie went on many exploits together including robbery and assault and were public enemies of the state. They were constantly on the run from the law and thought themselves above it. They were both shot dead while trying to escape the police on 23rd may, 1934. This is one other addition to the true love stories.
